Assistance With Daily Living Skills

Our Assistance with Daily Living Skills service is designed to help participants build the skills and confidence needed to manage everyday tasks independently. We work alongside each individual to develop practical abilities that support greater autonomy at home and in the community. This includes assistance with personal care, household tasks, meal preparation, routine planning, and transport. Our experienced and friendly support workers provide guidance while encouraging independence, always aligning support with your NDIS goals. Many participants choose to schedule regular sessions to maintain progress, build routine, and stay on track. At Social Footprints, we’re here to make daily living easier, more manageable, and tailored to your unique journey. Community Access

Our Community Access service is all about helping participants get out, get involved, and enjoy life in their local community. Whether it’s joining a social group, trying a new hobby, attending a fitness class, or volunteering, we’re here to support you in discovering what you love and connecting with others who share your interests. Our support workers don’t just accompany you, they actively engage in the experience to make each outing fun, meaningful, and comfortable. Whether it's exploring new environments or enjoying favorite pastimes, we ensure every outing is enjoyable, enriching, and tailored to your individual needs. We take the time to collaborate with you in choosing activities that align with your interests, lifestyle, and NDIS goals, making every community experience both personally fulfilling and meaningful.

Group Outings

Bring your friends along! Our group outing service offers participants a fantastic opportunity to socialise, make new friends, and enjoy fun experiences in a supportive environment. Designed for multiple participants, these outings provide a chance to connect with others, practice social skills, and build confidence in group settings. Whether it’s visiting local attractions, attending events, or enjoying outdoor activities, our group outings foster an atmosphere of friendship and self-expression. With a 1:3 support ratio, our experienced staff ensure each participant receives the attention they need, while encouraging positive interactions and teamwork. These group activities are not only enjoyable, but they also help participants develop valuable social skills and enhance their sense of belonging within the community.

Supported Employment

Our Supported Employment service is designed to help participants succeed in the workplace while receiving the guidance and support they need to thrive. Whether it’s getting to and from work, staying on task, understanding job responsibilities, or building workplace confidence, our dedicated support workers are there every step of the way. We work closely with each participant to ensure they feel comfortable, capable, and supported in their role. Supported employment not only provides a valuable opportunity to earn an income, but also to develop new skills, gain independence, and build meaningful connections in a professional environment. At Social Footprints, we’re committed to helping participants reach their employment goals with the right support in place.

Overnight Stays

We offer both active and inactive overnight support services to meet the unique needs of our participants. This service involves a support worker staying overnight with the participant, either in their home or a supported accommodation setting, to provide assistance as needed throughout the night. Our support workers are available to help with tasks such as meal preparation, getting ready for bed, and ensuring comfort and safety during the night. In the case of active overnight support, the worker is on-call to assist with tasks like toileting, medication management, or responding to emergencies. Overnight sleepover services can be arranged as a regular ongoing support or scheduled on an as-needed basis, depending on the participant's specific requirements.

Respite (STA)

Short Term Accommodation (STA) services, also known as respite services, provide carers a well-deserved break while giving participants with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy time away from home. We provide STA services which typically involve a short stay of up to 14 days, allowing participants to experience new environments and promote independent living. We have supported numerous participants in a variety of locations, including Melbourne CBD, Phillip Island, and along the Great Ocean Road. STA not only offers carers a chance to recharge but also helps participants explore new areas, build independence, and enjoy a change of scenery in a supportive setting.
